Horseless Carriage Club of America
Board of Directors
Chairman of the Board : Michael Bruce Rimmer
I joined the Horseless Carriage Club in the '60's. I purchased a "bucket of rust and bolts" for $100; I bought a 1927 Model "T" and brought it home in the back of a pickup. After my four years of service and my four years of post graduate education I really started having fun in the hobby.
I now have a 1903 Autocar, a 1909 Reo, a 1910 Brush, a 1910 Baker Electric, a 1912,1913,and a 1914 Model "T" ( yes one of these is still the same car I brought home in the 60's. Now, it has the correct equipment! ) I also have a 1914 Jeffery and I am currently restoring a 1911 Pierce Arrow.
I enjoy all the aspects that our Club provides, from the social, to the educational, to the touring fun. I have been on our Board for four years now and I enjoy serving your interests. I do believe in helping to make our Club flourish - and so I am "on the Board". I invite you to particpate in all the activities that our club provides. One thing I want you to know for sure-and that is I have an open mind and an open ear for suggestions that you might have; please don't hesitate to call.
I look forward to seeing you at Pendleton, Hershey, the Brass and Gas tours and, of course, Bakersfield my home town.
