Selling my father, Gary Hoonsbeen`s 1904 Cadillac (he passed away in 2016). He acquired the car in the late 1980`s as a disassembled collection of parts. Over several years he completely restored the car and it has been used for touring since.

I have completed several updates on the car:

  1. New fenders were made (as seen)
  2. the hood and dash were removed, stripped, and repainted
  3. The water and gas tanks were removed cleaned and repainted
The car is running great (as can be seen in the video).

He always considered this one of his most reliable touring cars.

Restored by my dad Gary Hoonsbeen. He spent over 6-years on the restoration, completing what you see in 2012

The car was discovered in a barn in Massachusetts in the 1960`s and eventually found its way to my dad`s possession.

He meticulously restored, refurbished, or replaced each component. The attached video shows the car displayed at the 2012 Minneapolis Auto Show. The car was never started for several reasons (including health), but he tested the systems and felt it was pretty much done

Several parts were removed as he tinkered with it, but I have them all.

1926 Ford Model T touring, I have owned several different Model T`s and none of them have run and driven as well as this one

The car had been owned by the same gentleman twice, he sold it to a friend asking that he not restore the car, it was in very good original condition and should have been kept that way. However, that new owner did have some restoration work done:

    1. New paint
    2. New top
    3. New upholstery
    4. Full set of side curtains, tires, etc
When he passed away the car was returned to the gentleman friend. I received the car in a trade deal. Asking $17,500

It later surfaced in Reno, Nevada where it was wagered in a Poker Game in 1962. The individual who won the car in the poker match was not up to the task of getting the car in proper condition for operation and sold the car in 1972 at which time it was restored

Since the mid-1970's this car has been restored, maintained, and refreshed. It is a great looking, reliable tour car.
