The Haynes Automobile Company produced automobiles in Kokomo, Indiana, from 1905 to 1924

Billed as America's First Car, the Haynes was a quality automobile built to compete with the finest cars of its time. This very nicely restored car is one of maybe 3 remaining. Advertised as capable of 70 miles per hour the Blue Ribbon or Special Speedster, was Haynes most sporting model for 1922

This is a Model T that I got as part of a trade between a 1936 White Model 706 tour bus and a 1927 Pierce Arrow

I have owned probably 20 Model T`s over the years, this is the best running one of any of them

I live 30 miles over a 6500` elevation pass to the local city, this car will pull that hill in high and does fine, does not heat up and the brakes work well

  3. Leather saddle is not original, but the frame it mounts on is original

Very famous car, formerly owned by Austin Clark and part of the Long Island Automobile Museum Collection

Purchased new by Mr. Henry Treadwell in c 1908. He drove and enjoyed the car into the 1950's

Clark invited the car to the Carnival of Cars in NYC and it is chronicled in Old Cars Weekly. The car also participated on the Glidden Tour several times as well as numerous other tours

Clark ended up buying the car and it was in his collection for decades

Fairly complete car, but should be considered a project

  • Cowl and tail lamps are believed correct
  • Headlights are incorrect
  • Includes up to date Indiana title
  • Serial number indicates the earliest model 79 in the WOKR registry
  • Bottom radiator elbow has a crack and manifold joints leak

We fired engine up on auxiliary gas tank and it sounded good. Never has had starter or generator
